The Hargreeves’ rescue mission in season 4 could be all about Sloane, and as Allison is back in the team, she could be getting her redemption this season by helping her siblings.
The Umbrella Academyseason 3 saw most of the characters go through big changes, both good and bad. Luther fell in love with Sloane (Genesis Rodríguez), amember of the Sparrow Academy, and they got married – however, Luther no longer loving Allison further sent the latter into a downward spiral. In the final episode, Allison killed Reginald to save her siblings, but she killed him before he could finish the new timeline. In addition to losing their powers and more,Sloane was nowhere to be found in the new timeline, raising questions of whether Allison was responsible for that or not.

Although Sloane is the one character inThe Umbrella Academywho would need to be rescued (purely based on her disappearance at the end of season 3), the rescue mission could be completely different. Eitherthe target or the motivation has to be important enough for the Hargreeves to team upone more time, more so as the trailer implies they all moved on with their lives. The trailer also hints at Reginald being the reason why the Hargreeves got their powers back, so he could be the one sending them on a rescue mission, and that could be dangerous given Reginald’s track record.
The Hargreeves could be on their way to rescue something Reginald needs, perhaps related to fixing the timeline, orthe rescue mission could be about the timeline itself. In any case, if Reginald is involved, there might be a twist, as he has proven to be too selfish and unreliable, further complicating the Umbrella Academy’s final mission.
