FortniteChapter 6 Season 4 has debuted and has wreaked havoc on the map, adding hive stashes all over. While the menacing bugs crawl all over these dens, here’s how to find them and destroy them to get the epic loot inside. Let’s hope you’re not scared of these oversized creepy crawlies.
Hive Stashes Fortnite Location
There are three main areas you may go to in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 to find hive stashes:
You’ll know you’re in the right place if you see towers of mud with alien beasts flying around them, and glowing orange objects on the ground. There’s also blue gas coming out of the area. Speaking of these orange objects, you’ll want to head over to them. They are the Hive Stashes. They can be destroyed by gunfire once you hit the ground, but they likely won’t count towards your XP missions. Instead, you may walk up to them and hold the interact button (square with a PlayStation controller).
They’ll burst after a few seconds and give you all manner of items, such as weapons, shields, and even a Hero Perk. You can find multiple hive stashes in one area, so you should be able to complete the quest quickly.

From performing in a rock band to being the last one alive on the island, there are many Fortnite modes to play.
If you decide to go straight to these hive stashes, make sure to keep an eye on enemy players. These areas can be very popular as they’re home to strong weapons and rare items. You also have to take out the bugs that can easily swarm you.
For a tactical advantage, you can visualize the sounds around your character. It easily shows movement near you, even during busy scenarios. Go to the Audio settings, head down to Sound, and then turn on Visualize Sound Effects.
How to Fight The Queen
All three areas require you to take down a certain number of alien bugs to face the boss, even if you’reThe Undertaker. you may remove their nests, the enemies themselves, or burst hive stashes to bring down the meter on the screen.
The Queen is fairly easy to beat if you have the right arsenal. One of the best weapons to use against it is the new Swarmstrike. It’s a rocket launcher that quickly eliminates the boss' health. There’s also an awesome minigun called theLeadspitter 3000. Use either of these weapons, hopefully retrieved from the hive stashes, and you should be able to take the Queen down. You’ll get 2,000XP for taking down a boss and eliminating the Queen specifically. If you have low health at the end of this, attempt to find acampfire, use shields, or put on a medkit.
Once the Queen is taken down, she’ll drop a Mythic O.X.R. Rifle that can devastate your foes. It takes out around 80 shield with one bullet alone. It will be an asset. She’ll also drop a medallion that lets you jump midair. you may move pretty quickly with this medallion, so it’s worth grabbing. Battles with it can also be interesting as you move from place to place and outwit your opponents. Hopefully, you can get a win in Fortnite with these new weapons and perks from this season.
