One Punch Man Season 3is one of the most popular Shonen series that awaits a release. The anime will be returning more than three years following the conclusion ofSeason 2. The fan-favorite superhero who can defeat any opponent with a single punch, Saitama, will be looking to put an end to the high-ranking Monster Association members in order to get a ‘real challenge.’
In August 2022, Yusuke Murataconfirmedthat there will be aOne Punch Man Season 3. The famous mangaka who goes by the pseudonym of ONE broke the internet with his announcement on the messaging platform X, having dropped a surreal teaser visual featuring Saitama and Genos.
TheOne Punchmanga has published over 190 chapters in 28 Volumes since it was first released in June 2012 but fans have only witnessed action till Volume 17 in the anime.

When willOne Punch Man Season 3be released?
Even though the anime return of Saitama and his overpowered fist is a sign of relief for the viewers, there is still not much clarity about it. Currently,One Punch Man Season 3has no official release date. The only thing that confirms thatSeason 3is in the works is the teaser visual designed by Chikashi Kubota, the character designer for the anime’s first and second seasons, and anappreciation postby Yusuke Murata.
More information aboutOne Punch Man Season 3is expected to be given during theJump Festa 2024, an anime convention that will be held at Tokyo’s Makuhari Messe convention center on December 16 and December 17. The annual event byShueishais one the largest celebrations of anime and manga, where new titles and announcements are made in front of a massive crowd.

One-Punch Man Season 1was announced in March 2015 and aired in Japan from October to December 2015 on TV Tokyo. It was then released in the United States with an English dub in July 2016 on Adult Swim’s Toonami. Viz Media debuted the first season on home video in North America.
Speaking ofSeason 2,it was confirmed in September 2016 and premiered in Japan on June 08, 2025. The U.S.A. release was on July 26, 2025. Viz Media acquired the master license for the season, which included streaming, broadcast, home media, and merchandising rights for North America, Latin America, and Oceania. It is now a Hulu exclusive and is available on Crunchyroll.
If the three-year delay in developingOne Punch Man Season 3after the end of the second season wasn’t enough, American fans will have to wait for the longest to get the dubbed version of the anime. Season 3 will first be released in Japan and then be made available to American audiences, which could take several more months after the expected original debut next year.

What to expect from One Punch Man Season 3?
One-Punch Man Season 3is expected to start from Volume 17, Chapter 86 of the manga.Season 2featured the Garou introduction arc: the Hero Hunter who was banished from the dojo by Bang and who had a fascination with monsters. He was taken away by the Phoenix Man to the headquarters of the Monster Association.
Garou and Saitama are expected to lock horns inSeason 3.However, based on the manga, he is going to decline the offer to join the Monster Association. Garou’s character is similar to Sasuke Uchiha fromNarutoas both are misguided in their missions and ideals. Also, the next season is going to feature The Monster King Orochi. He is expected to be the main villain but not something that Saitama cannot overcome with a single punch.
