Rangkusis a slow-moving boss with long wind-ups and swift follow-up attacks, using a heavy weapon that can shoot artillery fire atKhazan.TheExecutioner Setis recommended for this fight primarily forPhase 2due to thefire build-upfrom his attacks. This fight requires patience and a keen focus as this boss’s timing can easily catch a player off guard. If you’ve used aGreatsword,you may have an easier time identifyingRangkus’patterns as he follows a similar timeline to otherGreatswordusers just at a higher skill ceiling. Wait out his chargedArtillery fireuntil his stamina bar is nearly depleted before rushing in and exhausting him fully.
Use your combos to drain his health before following up with aBrutal Blowfor extra damage.Rangkusalso replenishes stamina quickly during his other attacks as he walks backward. Even if he seemed low at first, do not engage if you see his stamina bar rapidly surging back, disengage, and try again during his chargedArtillery Fire.
