Facing Off in Versus Mode
The brand-new Puyo Tetris Versus mode, an exclusive game mode only available on the Nintendo Switch 2 release of the game, is a chaotic and entertaining party mode that spans across multiple game types. Players split into teams of two, facing off against each other to outlast and sabotage their opponents by clearing lines or combos.

Both players' pieces spawn on either side of the top of the screen and can only move as far as their teammate’s piece is currently located.

Players control the positioning by moving the sideways Joy-Con 2 left and right, spinning their pieces and instantly dropping them with the two triggers on the controller.
