Konami Has Major Plans for Gamescom 2025
Those who visit B-020 in Hall 7 at Gamescom will be able to get their hands on the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater demo before its official release. Unfortunately, no details about what the demo will showcase have been revealed. It would likely be based on an early section of the game to help newcomers settle into the mechanics.
10 Most Memorable Villains in the Metal Gear Solid Games
The Metal Gear Solid series has had so many iconic and quotable villains that it’s time to rank the best.
Konami’s other highly anticipated game,Silent Hill f, won’t be getting a demo, but it will be getting a horror experience instead. The company says it will be “cinematic and atmospheric.” A new trailer for Silent Hill f will also be shown during Geoff Keighley’s Gamescom Opening Night Live event. It makes sense this horror game has a presence at the major gaming event as Silent Hill f will be released on September 25 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There’s currently no word on a Nintendo Switch 2 port, unfortunately.

If that isn’t enough, Konami will also have a Yu-Gi-Oh booth at Gamescom. If you’ve never played the card game before, there will be experienced staff helping you throgh the mechanics of the TCG. There will be tournaments taking place at the event. Additionally,Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, Duel Links, and theEarly Days Collectionwill be shown and explained by knowledgeable duelists on a stage. This takes place in Hall 5.2 at B-021 to A-020 on the Gamescom show floor.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is an Exciting 2025 Release
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a remake of the beloved third entry in the series from 2004. Konami says it hasn’t made changes to the story, characters, voice acting, gameplay, and music (for the most part). However, the graphics have received a glow up.
Utilizing Unreal Engine 5, Konami has rebuilt the jungles, forests, and swamps of the game. The wrinkles, pores, and separate eye and iris movements are now visible (which wasn’t possible on the PS2). Konami says on the game’s Steam page these additions give Snake and the others “rich and emotive facial animations.” Additionally, Snake will have bruises and bullet wounds on his body, adding a more realistic experience.

Konami had a hit remake last year with Silent Hill 2. Hopefully Snake Eater continies that success.
The controls have been improved across the board with a more modern style. Konami claims on the Steam page that “these intuitive controls let you focus entirely on the game, and the immersive thrills of the survival stealth experience.” However, if you’re a purist, you can switch to the classic controls. Those at Gamescom 2025 will soon be able to check out the modern style controls for themselves.
