7Repair Monorails for Quick Deliveries

Springfield’s Specialty

During the third chapter of Death Stranding 2, the player will be introduced to the concept of monorails and how they can be used to deliver a large amount of cargo from A to B. While the player will only have to repair a single one of these monorail stations for a tutorial, it’s more than worth the effort to track down and repair the others.

There will be many times throughout whereplayerswill be required to deliver thousands of KGs worth of packages at once. While this type of task can be accomplished with a large truck like an off-roader, that will often lead to a long ride where players are unable to pick up anything other than their delivery due to the weight. So make sure you repair these stations to save yourself a load of trouble!

6Build Roads for Easy Travel

Prepare for All-Night Drives

The continent of Australia can be difficult to traverse, with its large cliffs that the player can tumble down or various crevasses that they can fall into and damage their packages. Thankfully, there’s an easy way to safely travel around this largeopen world map: building roads to connect each area of the continent.

In various locations around the map (typically near delivery zones and enemy camps), the player can find auto pavers, which when inserted with the proper amount of Chiral Crystals, Metals and Ceramics can be used to pave a large road that players can drive on. These roads will typically require the hard work of many players to insert enough materials, but they are worth the effort as players won’t need to worry about traversal at all if a road is installed on a delivery route.

5Build Structures for Likes

Always Help Others

At the end of every delivery in Death Stranding 2, the game will update the player’s Porter Ranking by analyzing various stats of theirs such as their Stealth and Servicemanship. One of these stats is the Bridge Link stat, which will increase based on the amount of likes other players reward the player. While the player will automatically be given some likes if other gamers walk the same path as them or see their signposts, the easiest way to farm likes is to simply build structures that other people will be glad to use, as players learned from the first game and itsSteam port.

8 Best Games About Delivering Things

From cozy mail routes to apocalyptic treks, these delivery games turn simple drop-offs into unforgettable journeys worth returning to.

The best kind of structures to build while assisting others are generators and roads. A well-placed generator can be a matter of life and death when crossing the map and any player will gladly give some likes to the hero who saved their car battery. As for roads, since everyone uses them without a second thought, you can easily gain thousands of likes for assisting in the construction of one, so be sure to lend other players a helping hand whenever you can.

4Usada Pekora Requires a lot of Deliveries

In the weeks coming up to its release, one of the biggest talking points online was how the famous V-Tuber Usada Pekora would have a cameo in Death Stranding 2. While players will naturally meet her over the course of the main story, die-hard fans who want to hear every line of hers will have to spend a lot of time attempting to get their link with her to five stars.

8 Best Hollywood Celebrity Appearances in Video Games

Hollywood celebrities have made their appearances in video games, with these being the best ones.

Pekora’s bond link requirements are higher than a majority of other characters in the game. Because of this, it’s highly recommended that players always pick up lost packages and deliveries for her and prioritize getting her rank up. It’ll be a lot of work, but it’s more than worth it if you’re a fan of Vtubers and Pekora in particular.

3Combat is a Much Bigger Focus

Prepare for a Fight

While combat in the first Death Stranding could be avoided almost entirely outside of a few boss fights, Death Stranding 2 will frequently be sending the player into enemy camps as well as having them face off against bosses reminiscent of those in theMetal Gear Solid franchise.

Because of this larger focus on combat in Death Stranding 2, it’s recommended that players always keep multiple weapons on hand at all times. Electric pistols are fantastic for stealthily sneaking into camps and knocking out foes, but if you’re seen it’s always good to have some assault rifles and shotguns on your back. Just be careful to always have your eye around the corner in case you missed an enemy or two.

2Search the Desert for Chiral Crystals

Treasure Within the Sands

While Chiral Crystals aren’t the hardest resource to come across in Death Stranding 2 as they can grow anywhere in the world, there will still be times when the player is running low on them due to some structures requiring several hundred of them to construct. Luckily, there’s one section of the map that is perfect for farming this resource: the desert.

If the player were to drive off in a random direction away from any of the actual buildings located in the desert, they’re bound to come across a gold mine of Chiral Crystals. While there’s a risk of either Sam getting exhausted or your car battery dying in the desert, this is a fantastic method to get hundreds of resources at once.

1Drop Everything to Grab Ceramics

The Most Valuable Resource

If there’s a single resource that players will never have enough of in Death Stranding 2, it’s ceramics. Many structures in the game will require hundreds or thousands of ceramics to construct, but most delivery targets will only be willing to share a few of them with the player. Even enemy camps, which are often a good spawning point for ceramics, will almost never provide the player with enough to construct what they want.

Because of this, it’s recommended that players always pick up any and all ceramics they see while walking around the world. The boxes they come in may be heavy, but it’ll save you loads of time to have them on hand when you need them as opposed to needing to scavenge the entire continent for ceramics later. Because of how necessary this is to having a smooth Death Stranding 2 experience, it’s easily the most important tip to remember when starting a playthrough of the game.
