Style is everything in Final Fantasy XIV, and in the latest expansion,Dawntrail, there’s even more beautiful glamour time find. Whether it’s the futuristic design of the later dungeons, something a lot of players are already on the grind to get, or the traditional outfits of Tuliyollal, there’s a lot of variety when it comes to how you look.
Squirel Outfit
You may have seen rather large squirrels running amok around the world lately. Unlike the traditional anthropomorphic costumes introduced in the MMORPG, this one actually has clothes on. This is because it’s a mascot outfit that’s represented from the later zone, Living Memory, in which there’s a theme park.
Well, it’s easy to actually get this costume, but it does require patience. The first thing you need to obtain is the ability to fly in the Living Memories zone. This means that you’ll need to fully complete the story of Dawntrail because the final aether current quest is tied to the story itself. After doing so, you now have to wait. This is because this outfit is locked behind a world boss (special FATE) in this zone that needs to be spawned once every couple of days.

How to Obtain the Air-wheeler A9 Motorcycle Mount in FFXIV: Dawntrail
The numerous mounts spread throughout Dawntrail, this is the best and most expensive.
Mascot Murder
Thankfully, because Dawntrail is new, there are multiple instances, so there will be even more chances to catch this (not to mention server transfers make it easy if you have some sort of notification through in-game cross-world linkshells or discords). Once the FATE is available, it will spawn all the way east ofLiving Memories (X37.2 Y33.3)on the Tower of Mu.
Fly over there to find a giant squirrel mascot ready to do battle in the specialFATE “Mascot Murder.”Fight this relatively easy fight that involves finding the correct cards and it will drop a special material called “Mica Magicog.”

Head over toSolution Nineand to the Nexus Arcade aethernet shard. Head into the main lobby of vendors to findUah’shepyaselling miscellaneous items. SelectSublime Curiositiesto find the Mica Head that costs 4 Mica Magicogs and the Mica Suit for 6. Because the FATE only drops six of these Magicogs, it means you’ll have to do it at least two times, and there will be two left over for whatever reason.
Now you can strut your stuff as a creepy-looking squirrel mascot in Final Fantasy XIV.
