The Omens of Tyranny update forHelldivers 2has added a new faction to fight alongside the Fast Recon Vehicle, a four-door all-terrain car with a turret attached on top of it. Here is how to get the Fast Recon Vehicle in Helldivers 2.
How to Find the Fast Recon Vehicle in Helldivers 2
Helldivers 2 players can get the Fast Recon Vehicle byfinding it on the map of the planet Calypso, located in the Saleria Sector. This sector is the new purple section at the southern area of the war table, not the usual Terminid or Automaton sections.
The vehicle can be found sitting in the city sections of the large maps on the planet. Simply bring up the map mid-mission and look for thecar and bullets icon. Players do not need to activate the Radar Tower beforehand to reveal the icon.
The vehicle will just sit out in the open and requires no other keys or objectives completed to power it up. However, the Fast Recon Vehicle will onlyappear on Difficulty 4 – Challenging and above.
How to Unlock the Fast Recon Vehicle in Helldivers 2
Currently,there is no method to unlock the Fast Recon Vehicleas a Stratagem to call in whenever you please. Unlike theExosuit, the vehicle can only be found while playing the city environments in the Saleria Sector.
The developers have said that the Fast Recon Vehicle will be a Stratagem in the future. While not available now,completing a future Major Order will give players their own vehicleto call in. In the meantime, the vehicle can be customized with different cosmetic skins like the Concrete Jungle Vehicle Pattern available in the Urban Legends Premium Warbond.
