Diablo 4’s Endgame might be getting a bit of flak as players close in on level 80 or so, but that doesn’t mean some activities aren’t worth doing regardless.Helltides, the hour-on-hour-off activities that populate the world map, are a fantastic way to get tons of Legendary drops (and therefore, Aspects).

The quickest way to get Legendaries, and the occasional Unique, from Helltides is to openMystery Chests. These appeartwo at a time, and rotate at the top of the hour. Their rotation doesn’t necessarily correspond with the Helltide’s uptime, so you’re either going to be looking attwo or fourtotal for each Helltide.

Mystery Chests have predetermined locations, but they aren’t up all the time, so how do we find the ones currently available?

How to Find Active Mystery Chests in Diablo 4

Using the websitehelltides.com, players can seeboth currently available Mystery Chests and Public Events. This is good for both farming lots of Embers, and quickly routing your way to the chests you want to hit.

The site accomplishes this viaplayer voting. When a player finds an active chest, theyupvote iton the site. Enough upvotes, and the chest is highlighted for you to see. The image above shows an example Helltide, where you can see the two active chests as well as where Public Events are located.

One last thing – be sure toselect the region tab of the active Helltide, or else you won’t be able to see any active information at all (or the correct map). The site also indicates how long Helltides last, and when the next one will appear.
