James Franco, the actor known for portraying Harry Osborn in the originalSpider-Manmovies has been charged with s*xual abuse by several women. Although the actor defended his actions, his interviews did not seem to help the actor at all.
While in 2014, Franco sat down for an interview with Howard Stern to talk about the allegations and in the process ended up getting himself into more trouble. The127 Hoursactor stated that he couldn’t help if all his fans were 17-year-olds.
James Franco Gets Into More Trouble With His Controversial Interviews
Although the actor has had an extensive career over the years, James Franco has also gotten himself into more trouble year by year. As per the allegations and accusations, Franco has been charged with allegations of s*xual abuse by multiple women over the years.

Although the allegations of abuse were not enough, the actor has been further charged with sliding into the DMs of minors. Talking about the allegations with Howard Stern back in 2014, the actor all but confirmed that he was indeed talking to 17-year-old fans via their DMs. In the interview, Franco asked the question of whether the victim was truly a victim or not. Franco further stated that only his controversial stuff gets a global release.
James Franco, in his defense, stated that most of his fans were 17-year-old girls. He further talked to Howard Stern about whether he was the victim in this case or not.
“How is she a victim? I was like anybody, just trying to meet somebody. It’s just that my dirty s–t gets put out internationally.”
James Franco, being James Franco also once stated that he had a crush on his co-star Kirsten Dunst who at the time was dating Tobey Maguire which led to an awkward situation.

Well, as is the history ofSpider-Manmovies,Tobey Maguireand his co-star Kirsten Dunst dated while on the sets of the 2002 movie. After the movie was released, Franco revealed that he had a crush on Dunst and he was kind of pissed off about the whole situation.
“Tobey and Kristen became a couple around that time. I had a crush on Kirsten, and I think I was upset about that as well… Tobey was mad at me for a while. By the second film, we were cool.”
The actor further talked about director Sam Raimi’s role in the movie and in the relationship between Tobey Maguire andKirsten Dunst.
“I felt hurt, with you [Sam Raimi] giving Tobey all the attention… You were the father who wouldn’t give me the love I needed.”
