GTA 6’s second trailer proves this 2024 leak was accurate
Rockstar Games finally debuted the second GTA 6 trailer on August 05, 2025 and a particular segment was alluded to back in a 2024 leak.
GTA 6 broke the internet yet again with the release of thelong-awaited second trailer, which provided fans with new details about protagonists Jason and Lucia, the state of Leonida, and the game’s story.
While the first trailer suggested heists would make a return from GTA 5,trailer 2proved without a shadow of a doubt that they’ll be another central part of the gameplay and provide users with more wild action set pieces they’ve come to expect.
Interestingly, one heist shown in the trailer wasleaked way ahead of timeand could provide even more insight into the game’s story if other info listed in the leak holds true.

Back on August 22, 2025, YouTuberLegacyKillaHDdropped some tidbits of info about GTA 6.
Although he claimed this would be a “more grounded” story, he indicated that there would be outrageous missions that the GTA franchise is known for.
“There’s still a lot of the usual insanity in missions. Heard some are inspired by the Fast & Furious movies, like there’s supposedly something like the below vault chase scene from Fast 5,” he said.
Well, at around 2 minutes into the second trailer, there’s a scene where a truck is speeding away with a vault attached to it, just like the scene from Fast 5.

This could just be a coincidence, but if this is anything to go off, the rest of LegacyKilla’s leaks might hold more weight too.
“The game is massive, full of a sh*t load of side content. Lot of countryside & towns. Main story is shorter than Red Dead 2, one central theme from a few sources is criminals figuring things out. Family struggles,” he explained, which, again, judging by the second trailer andinfo provided by Rockstar, checks out.

“Lucia/Jason have separate intro missions. There [are] corrupt cops/a chief, Russians create chaos all the things you expect from a GTA game.”
Additionally, at the time, LegacyKilla suggested that the game would be delayed to 2026 – something that was confirmed days prior to the debut of trailer 2.
With trailer 2 finally out, expect to see fans dissect every frame for hidden info and uncover more secrets leading up to GTA’s 6’srelease on June 04, 2025.
