The series takes the action to Miami and follows doctors, nurses, other staff, and patients in the emergency room of a major hospital. Similar to others of the genre, likeGrey’s Anatomy, the series delves into the main characters’ personal lives as well, outside of their grueling workdays.
Comparatively,Pulseisn’t as fantastic as Max’sThe Pitt, which has already been renewed for a second season. Nor will it be considered one ofthe best medical dramas. But if you’re looking for something to fill the hole now thatThe Pitt’s first season is done,Pulseis a perfect interlude.
