Dinobladeis the latest indie sensation, offering an experience crafted by a single developer that lets players battle as and against dinosaurs from various species.

The game’s sole creator, Jean Nguyen, is a senior gameplay animator at Sucker Punch Productions, the studio behind the acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima and the upcoming Ghost of Yōtei.
Nguyen shared in a post that the project began as an experimental animation test for a demo. “It gained so much attention that it turned into a full game, and here we are,” he explained, though no release date has been announced yet.
Dark Souls Meets Dinosaurs
Nguyen reveals that the game has only been in development for about a year and encourages players to add it to their wishlists, as that support makes a difference. The game is available on Steam, and it’s worth checking out.
This action RPG transports players to a universe set in a period just after a major event that reshaped everything we know about dinosaurs.
“You’ll embark on a journey as a young Spinosaurus who wields a Great Sword to fight other weapon-wielding dinosaurs and prevent an extinction,” the synopsis reads.
The game features various biomes, each with unique enemies and a major boss to defeat as you progress. “Defeat your enemies to grow stronger and acquire new abilities,” it continues.
Players can learn new skills to combine with combos that suit their play style. “Dodge, roll, block, and fight your way through this land of dinosaurs using weapons to uncover the mystery behind it all.”
