Since Diablo 4’s launch in June, Blizzard has deployed numerous updates every week or two to address various bug fixes and balance changes, especially ones surrounding a new season. With Season Two announced just a few days ago, this upcoming update will be one of many as we get closer to the season’s release in October. Diablo 4 August Update 1.1.3 – Full Patch Notes

This update, set to launch on July 15, 2025, primarily addresses crowd control effects, season one bug fixes, and a few changes to skills for Necromancer, Sorcerer, and Rogue. While the update will be released a few days from now, we get to look at the patch notes slightly earlier.

Crowd Control Sources

We have made various changes to Monster Abilities and Elite Affixes that apply Crowd Control effects, including

Developer’s Note:These changes are aimed at the player having less time being Crowd Controlled and receiving more recovery time after being Crowd Controlled, especially at higher World Tiers.

Miscellaneous

Developer’s Note:We’re adjusting how Affixes are displayed on item tooltips in Season of Blood. This change will lay the foundation for our ongoing work of making random Affixes easier to compare.

Season of the Malignant

Developer’s Note:Druidic Spirit Offerings can now be dropped from the Quest Inventory, allowing other Quest items to be picked up.
