Previous footage from Marvel’sIron FistSeason 2 teasedDanny Rand’s iconic yellow mask, and now we have a brand-new trailer that features Rand and Steel Serpent engaged in a heavy battle. The first season of the show was not well-received by critics or fans, but the new season already seems a lot better, and that’s just based on the promotional material for the show that has been released thus far. Netflix has a new showrunner for the series as well, so hopes are high for Season 2 ofIron Fist.
Iron FistSeason 2 premieres in a few weeks andNetflixis pushing the series with a new look at Steel Serpent and the motivations behind the main characters.Danny Rand’s personal issuesare flaring up again and they’re getting more intense, with the villainous Davos back in the fold, noting that there’s “some family matters to discuss.” The action sequences in the new trailer are abundant and they have been stepped up a notch from the previous season.
The Steel Serpent was teased in someIron FistSeason 2 promotional material that was released during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Danny Rand’s iconic tattoo was shown on the screen, glowing green, which later saw the wings fall off. After the wings are gone, the green switches to red and leaves the Steel Serpent logo in its place. That little teaser was enough for fans of the show who are expecting a major a change for the upcoming season. And there was the intense first trailer that dropped the official release date of September 7th.
Things are starting to look up forIron FistSeason 2. Lead actor Finn Jones seems more confident in the new trailers for the series, which has been attributed to the awesome fight scenes. Season 2 is already looking like it’s going tobreak many bonesalong the way and shed a lot of blood, something that many felt was lacking from the first season. Thankfully, Netflix is working to improve the show instead of canceling it.
As previously noted,Iron FistSeason 2 will return on September 7th exclusively on Netflix. All of the episodes will be there that night for Marvel fans to binge in one sitting. The new trailers certainly look like fans are going to want to devour the whole season in a matter of days. Davos is going to be a major threat with his own glowing fist. Davos is working with Joy Meachum and her brother Ward Meachum, who pops up in the new trailer as well. In addition,Alice Eve’s Typhoid Maryis shown in tiny glimpses. Needless to say, there’s a lot to look forward to in Season 2 of the Netflix series.
