Chris Hemsworthis usually seen being a rough, tough action hero in his on-screen appearances, but in a new video shared by the Thor actor on social media, he is having fun with a bunch of Elf on the Shelf mischief-makers. While everyone loves the Australian actor, the reaction to the video has been divided for one particular reason since it was shared on Christmas Day.
In the video, Hemsworth shows off a collection of guilty-looking little critters that have taken over his bathroom, with the devastation on his vanity unit countered by the bizarre sight of an elf perching over a toilet bowl filled with cereal holding a spoon. Yes, you may read that as many times as you want, it won’t change. During the video, Hemsworth says:

“Merry Christmas everyone. I just want to say keep your eyes peeled because the elves have done it again. Look at ‘em. Cheeky buggers. They’re everywhere. Stay sharp.”
The division among fans was not that they didn’t appreciate Hemsworth’s effort, but over how he had managed to fill his whole toilet bowl with Fruit Loops. Many asked whether he had actually blocked his toilet by completely filling it with the cereal, but others, casting their beady eyes over the video, pointed out that Hemsworth seemed to have delivered a little in-camera magic for the video. One commented:

“There’s cling wrap over the seat then a small amount of cereal on top. I’m sure no one is crazy enough to fill their toilet bowl with cereal!”
Others didn’t really care about how Hemsworth had pulled off the feat, but were more concerned by the “disgusting waste” of food, regardless of how much or how little he had used. But the unimpressed comment was quickly shot down by others, who said that Hemsworth does more than enough in charitable donations to make up for having a bit of a laugh on the “one day that can still be observed as pure fun.”
