If there’s one thing that fans just can’t thank Ridley Scott enough for making, it’s theAlienfranchise. First introduced to them in 1979, worldwide audiences have been terrified and entertained by the horror/sci-fi film series ever since. But it seems that the masterpiece of a franchise hasn’t been done justice to lately.

This comes after recent reports that Disney is allegedly releasing a ‘kids book’ next year based on the terrorizingAlienfranchise, which would reportedly include the Xenomorphs teaching children about the alphabet. And as expected, fans of Scott’s superhit franchise are as displeased about this news as ever.

Back whenRidley Scottfirst introduced theAlienfranchise to global audiences in 1979, people were terrified of it and were fleeing the theatres. But as the years progressed, so did the masterpiece sci-fi franchise, and so did fans’ reception of it.

Now, after more than four decades of being created, the film franchise has become one of the biggest favorite go-to of fans for the horror/sci-fi genre. Yet, it seems that the franchise will soon be getting robbed of the very thing that appeases fans the most about it: its thrilling sequences.
As reported by@DiscussingFilm on X, Disney is in the works of releasing an ‘ABC Book’ for kids adapted from Scott’s franchise. This ‘kid-friendly’ book will be titled,A is for ALIEN, and will reportedly be released next year.

More details about it reveal that apparently,“Ripley & the Nostromo crew”will be introducing the kids to the alphabet through the book that has been made with a“light-hearted reimagining of thefilm,”i.e. of Ridley Scott’s unnerving thriller from 1979.

On the one hand, while Disney must be excited to be doing something creative with Ridley Scott’s science fiction-based franchise, fans, on the other hand, just can’t seem to figure out how something likeAliencould be remade into alight-heartedversion for kids.

Fans Reactions ToAlienGetting Adapted Into A Kids Book
Considering how Ridley Scott’s masterpiece of a franchise has haunted audiences to the core with its epic sci-fi storyline for decades since the late 1970s, an ‘ABC Book’ for kids based on the massively successful franchise was the last thing fans were expecting.
Thus, obviously taken by an unwanted surprise, fans have taken to X to share just how unkeen they are about Disney taking such a step:

Judging from all these reactions, to put it simply, Disney will be nothing short of ruining the fan-favorite film franchise by creating something like a‘Kids Book’based on something like Ridley Scott’s petrifying fictional franchise.
