The iconic singer Elvis Presley’s ex-wife, Priscilla Presley is currently embroiled in a legal battle and has filed a lawsuit for elderly abuse. She is now 79 and has alleged that her former business partners have conspired, manipulated, and taken advantage of her vulnerable state which has led to a financial mess.
The lawsuit marks a troubling development in her life, as it includes both personal and financial exploitation. She claims to have been conned out of $1 million which is no small amount! Priscilla Presleyalleges that Kruse, who is the founder of Kruse GWS Auctions slowly and steadily gained control over her finances by forming a relationship with her, that was marred with deceit (viaPeople). According to Presley’s attorney, he isolated her from several longtime trusted advisors and severed all ties with them by convincing her that they were all incapable or untrustworthy.
They convinced [Priscilla] that all of her former advisors were either deceitful or incompetent, and that she was leaving millions of dollars on the table as the result of their mismanagement.
Moreover, the lawsuit also suggests that Kruse coerced Presley into signing documents that allowed him to take control of her finances and even family matters. It also says that she was led to create companies where most of the associates took home 80% of the profits. Meanwhile, she was only given a small share (viaPeople).

In response to Presley’s lawsuit, attorney Lynn Walker Wright has requested a dismissal of the case from the California court and suggested that all proceedings related to her case should happen in Florida. Wright also denies all allegations of elder abuse, conspiracy, breach of fiduciary duty, and legal malpractice.
Kruse’s legal team has completely dismissed all the claims that Presley made in her lawsuit. They claim that her legal actions are made in an attempt to damage their client’s reputation. However, Presley’s team maintains that the case is about seeking justice because their client was a victim of calculated financial exploitation.
