It has faced some delays and will arrive several months later than expected, but in just a couple of weeks, we will finally be able to play Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the latest entry in Ubisoft’s successful and iconic franchise, launching on March 20 forPS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

We Now Know the Exact Length of the Game
As promised, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be noticeably shorter than previous main entries—an aspect that was heavily criticized in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (2020) for being too long.
In an interview, creative director Jonathan Dumont revealed that themain campaignof Assassin’s Creed Shadows will take approximately30 to 40 hoursto complete. He also stated that players aiming for100% completion, including all side content, will needover 80 hours.

Additionally, Assassin’s Creed Shadowscould receive a New Game Plus modepost-launch. Dumont mentioned that Ubisoft is considering adding this feature, along with other game modes, based on community feedback, but nothing is confirmed yet.
Months ago,a co-op mode for Assassin’s Creed Shadowswas leaked, allowing players to controlYasuke and Naoe togetheras a team. This content is rumored to release a few months after launch, but there has been no official confirmation.
