Katherine Schwarzenegger comments on criticism of her husband Chris Pratt
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter and Pratt’s wife, Katherine shared in an interview with The New York Times in 2023 about the negativity towards her husband. Talking about dealing with the things said about Pratt, she revealed that she is not new to criticism of her loved ones. She added that, as a kid, she watched other people talk badly about her family. Katherine said,
“Growing up, hearing people say certain things about my parents, my siblings, my extended family.”
The proclaimed author mostly tries to shy away from the topic of her husband’s criticism, but she was affected when anE-NewsInstagram post asked which Hollywood Chris is the worst. She commented on the post,
“Is this really what we need? There’s so much going on in the world and people struggling in so many ways. Being mean is so yesterday. There’s enough room to love all these guys. Love is what we need not meanness and bullying. Let’s try that.”
Katherine Schwarzenegger mostly keeps calm and composed over the allegation about her husband as she knows they are far from the truth.

Katherine Schwarzenegger’s mother’s advice for defending Chris Pratt
Katherine Schwarzenegger’s mother, Maria Shriver, is the niece of JFK, RFK, and Ted Kennedy and the ex-wife of world-famous bodybuilding icon Arnold Schwarzenegger. Given her life, Maria Shriver had to learn to cope with her loved ones being criticized. Hence, when her daughter faced the situation, she stepped in to advise her regarding Pratt.
Katherine said in the interview that it was her mom, Maria Shriver, who told her that defendingChris Prattcould become a “never-ending”trap of correcting the record. Katherine also revealed how she copes with the situation,
“I see what people say. But I just know that it’s so far from reality.”
