But I kid, as a ton of developers, publishers, and more work hard at giving us little peeks into their latest gaming projects, and it’s our pleasure to highlight them....

There’s a lot of variables being juggled high up in the air right now when it comes to the DC movie universe. But one thing that is sure, we’re getting aShazam!movie. And sooner than anyone is probably expected. The future of the DCEU is in question, as DC and Warner Bros. consider splintering their upcoming movies into various different cinematic universes. ButShazam!is unique in that it’s coming from sister studio New Line, which will allow it to crossover with the DCEU while standing within its own perimeters not beholden to that continuity....

Sadly, like so many other 2020 events, sporting and otherwise, this year’s Soccer Aid was postponed. The annual charity football match between celebrities and ex-professionals did not go ahead on its originally planned early June date. Even if the players themselves had committed to taking the field, there wouldn’t have been a crowd available to cheer them on and, more importantly, raise the usual money for Unicef. However, it’s not all doom and gloom as a virtual replacement is planned....

A small company calledMurenabroke into the news this week thansk to its latest Android phone release. Known for preloading old Android phones with a custom version of Android, this Murena One phone is the company’s first phone. A typical $400 phone, it’s a flat-screen slab with solid specs including a MediaTek processor, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 48-megapixel rear camera, and a 25MP selfie shooter. More important than the specs, Murena is using the privacy-focused, iOS-inspired /e/OS to power its smartphone....

A majority of the development and production for next year’sSpider-Man: Far from Homehas been kept absolutely quiet at Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios, but that hasn’t stopped a few leaks and rumors from slipping through the locks. The latest rumor claims that one of Spider-Man’s most obscure villains Molten Man will make an appearance in the movie. Molten Man isn’t the onlyvillain rumored to appearin the movie. Jake Gyllenhaal has been strongly rumored to appear as the main villain of the movie, Mysterio, and Michael Keaton is confirmed to reprise his role as Adrian Toomes / the Vulture....
